If you grew up in America you’ve probably been called a slut…or called someone a slut. If you’re a girl, it was probably both. “Slutiness” is practically a rite of passage in all of our lives from adolescence to adulthood and it is women who are most often the target of slut shaming and sexual judgment. F#CK THAT NOISE.
In collaboration with The Smear Campaign, professor and performer Alicia Swiz (POP!GoesAlicia) hosts a rad line-up of Chicago stand-ups and storytellers who will perform about their experiences with being a slut.

The Smear Campaign is cosmetics company that advocates for healthy and responsible sexual education, awareness and sexual autonomy for women worldwide.
“Our mission is to take back the words used against women and change the social conversation about women and sex; creating an open, honest, and equal culture that educates and respects positive female sexuality. We take issue with the idea that a women who is determined, passionate and/or simply doesn’t align with someone else’s ideas is too often labeled a “bitch” and when a women enjoys sex or expresses her sexuality openly, she is labeled a “slut”. We are redefining these terms.”
